Financial relief for UEW students with outstanding Balances for 2023/2024 Academic fees

UEW SRC President H.E. Bismark Opoku took to Twitter to share a significant update regarding financial flexibility for students. According to his post, negotiations have successfully concluded with the finance office, paving the way for an innovative solution. Students burdened with outstanding balances from previous fees can now opt for a top-up mechanism when paying for the upcoming 2023/2024 academic year.

This strategic move is designed to address the challenges students face in settling their financial obligations, specifically easing the pressure related to refund issues. By permitting a top-up option, the university aims to provide a pragmatic and accessible means for students to manage their financial commitments and continue their academic pursuits without undue stress.

H.E. Bismark Opoku expressed gratitude in his tweet, acknowledging the collaborative efforts involved in reaching this arrangement. The initiative reflects a commitment to student welfare and demonstrates a proactive approach in finding practical solutions to financial hurdles that may impede the educational journey. This development is likely to be well-received by the student body, as it exemplifies responsiveness and a dedication to ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder the pursuit of education at UEW.
